Wakajiu-Jitsu was reborn in August 2021.

The new dojo name is "CARPE DIEM NAHA".

Carpe diem means "live in the moment" in Latin.

One day in 2021, when I was thinking about my future dojo, I received news of my father’s illness.

I was worried about this and that in my head, but I couldn’t take any action.

 

It was an event that gave me the opportunity to take a step forward, deciding in my heart that I should live my limited life one day at a time.

At that time, I met Carpe Diem and its representative, Dr. Ishikawa.

Jiu-jitsu changed me when I had no confidence in myself.

My current goal is to enrich the lives of our members through jiu-jitsu.

I believe that jiu-jitsu has such a wonderful power.

All members can enjoy the wonderful sport of jiu-jitsu with peace of mind.
